Japan Earthquake: Tsunami Hits After 8.9 Quake
Destructive Japan tsunami caught on film
Last night I was reading about an
earthquake that struck Japan on the 9th March 2011, measuring 7.2 in
magnitude on the Richter scale, fortunately, in that earthquake there
were no serious casualties according to the news reports that I have
read, although there was a Tsunami warning issued at the time.
Today,
11th of March 2011 yet another earthquake has hit Japan once again,
this time very serious. This earthquake measured 8.9 in magnitude followed by a Tsunami of approximately 32 feet high, according to news reports.
Many people have been injured, hundreds have been killed, thousands are feared missing.
Tsunami warnings have been issued for Japan, Russia, Marcus Islands, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, and Hawaii.
